BBC Children in Need is such a fantastic cause so this year we have asked them how we can help.

So, to launch our Ice Rink for 2026 we have decided to offer a great skate for just £7 (ppp – per Pudsey participant) with ALL proceeds donated to Children in Need!! Enjoy our ice rink with your family for this amazing price to raise money for this amazing charity. There are exclusive skates available on Children in Need day (the Friday) and on the Saturday too.

Unfortunately, Wheelchairs and pushchairs are not permitted on the ice these sessions.

It’s Pudsey Bear! Straight from BBC Children in Need HQ, Pudsey is very busy, on his special weekend, and we are so honoured to welcome him to our place.

That’s right it’s the same price for all tickets. We’d love you to join in the Pudsey Party – we’d love you to wear your Pudsey ears, Pudsey jumpers, anything yellow – or just join in the fun. Pudsey will be available for meets and greets, photo ops and to hear about your fundraising too. Oh, and if you can bring any loose change – pennies for Pudsey’s bucket, he’d love that too.

A whole family of fun skating friends can now be booked to coincide with your skate. For a helping hand (or flipper!), the best seat on the rink or just fabulous fun! Check them out below:

Afternoon Tea for Two*
Treat someone to a delightful Afternoon Tea in our Canalside Restaurant.
Weekdays 2-4pm

Purchasing this Afternoon Tea Gift Voucher is a lovely way to treat a friend or relative.
Upon purchasing a gift card will be emailed to the lucky recipient. You can fill in a special message too and, of course, include your details.

*Also available in different numbers. Week days, excluding Bank Holidays.

It’s now really easy to send a Whilton Locks Gift Card to friends and family.
Step 1. Choose an amount
Use the dropdown arrow to choose an amount. For this demonstration, we are going to send a £5 Gift Card to Mum!

Step 2. Fill in who it’s for
Their email address – if you would like it sent straight to them – OR your email if you’d like it sent to your email address.
Don’t forget to put who it’s from and include a special message.
This example is for £5. For other values choose a different Gift Card amount OR you can use the circle 1 and change that to 2, if you’d like to send £10.
You can also send Mum and Dad £5 each, for example, by adding two email addresses separated with a comma thus: mum@home.com,dad@home.com.

Step 3. Click on Add to Basket
Fill in your details and the Gift Card is complete.
