There’s always loads to do including floo powder making, map making, tie colouring, activity sheets. Also included is a special spell class. Online pre-booking essential, as numbers are limited.

We will spoil you with a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches including Green Eggs & Ham, Roast Beast & Red fish, Blue fish, Tuna Fish Try our homemade Cindy -Lou Who’s Scone served with Dorset clotted cream and raspberry Jam. Indulge with a selection of our homemade cakes and treats from our Whobillation Celebration cupcake to Grinch’s Heart pretzel. A selection of Whoville sweets, Grinchy Greens and Grinch Potion will also be served. The Afternoon Tea includes refillable tea or a cup of coffee.

Everyone down in Whilton liked Christmas a lot.
But the Grinch who lived just north of Whilton did not!

The Grinch hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season!
Now, please don’t ask why. No one quite knows the reason.

It could be, perhaps, that he didn’t like glee,
It could be he hadn’t heard of our Afternoon Tea.

It could be, perhaps, if we try and think,
That no-one had told him of our booking link.

Booking is essential for Terrific Tea with Elsa. With homemade cake so scrummy you’ll find it hard to Let it Go! You’d have a Frozen Heart to miss out… and yes Cupcakes are Better than Reindeer!

Treat someone to a delightful Afternoon Tea in our Canalside Restaurant.
Weekdays 2-4pm

Purchasing this Afternoon Tea Gift Voucher is a lovely way to treat a friend or relative.
Upon purchasing a gift card will be emailed to the lucky recipient. You can fill in a special message too and, of course, include your details.

It’s now really easy to send a Whilton Locks Gift Card to friends and family.
Step 1. Choose an amount
Use the dropdown arrow to choose an amount. For this demonstration, we are going to send a £5 Gift Card to Mum!

Step 2. Fill in who it’s for
Their email address – if you would like it sent straight to them – OR your email if you’d like it sent to your email address.
Don’t forget to put who it’s from and include a special message.
This example is for £5. For other values choose a different Gift Card amount OR you can use the circle 1 and change that to 2, if you’d like to send £10.
You can also send Mum and Dad £5 each, for example, by adding two email addresses separated with a comma thus: mum@home.com,dad@home.com.

Step 3. Click on Add to Basket

The Garden Centre had some really unusual and unique items that would make fabulous presents and I couldn’t leave without a few items!
