Our real ice rink can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. We have a team of trained ice stewards who ensure that our rink is safe and well maintained at all times. Free skate hire is included in the ticket price.

Santa, trying to keep a low profile with his bright red suit in his bright red car, was enjoying the fabulous weather, with one of his elves, and stopped off to tell us all about Junemas.

Junemas is 25th June and means that 2022 is exactly half way through, as we take the turn from remembering Christmas 2021 and head towards the excitement and anticipation of Christmas 2022. He also said it was only 183 days to Christmas Day! Ho ho oh Santa!

Spend an afternoon with friends at Whilton Locks Garden Village and indulge yourself with an Afternoon Tea.

Enjoy a floral demonstration using real seasonal flowers and foliage, whilst listening to a lively talk with Chris Littlewood, covering the history of the Christmas tree and Father Christmas, the history of our traditional Christmas fayre, the meaning of evergreens and so much more.

Christine Littlewood (Chris) is an accomplished horticulturist with a wealth of knowledge. She established Bliss Lane Nursery in the late 1980s when her family at Meadow Farm gave up their dairy business, where Chris was in charge of milking the cows.

The nursery has a fantastic reputation and has since expanded to include a thriving floristry business and a farm shop selling local produce.

At the end of the demonstration there will be an opportunity to win one of the arrangements.

It’s the perfect event to start the new month and really share the Christmas spirit.
